'That Taxi Co' also known as 'TTC' is a private hire transport company (so pre-booking is essential) which offers a reliable and efficient transportation solution for residents and visitors in and around Tynedale for both local and national trips.
With a fleet of modern, well-maintained vehicles and a team of professional drivers, the service ensures prompt and courteous transfers to any destination within our local area. Whether you need a quick trip to the airport, a comfortable ride to a business meeting, or help getting around Hadrian's Wall, the 'TTC' service is dedicated to providing a hassle-free experience. We're Growing - And Fast!
Over the past seven months, That Taxi Co has experienced rapid growth – and we’re only picking up speed.
​
We’ve welcomed six new team members to our crew, including experienced drivers, Passenger Transport Assistants (PTAs), and dedicated telephone operators. Their support has helped us deliver even more reliable, responsive service to our customers across the region.
Our fleet has expanded to four vehicles, with a fifth on the way. This added capacity means more availability, faster response times, and greater flexibility for everything from school runs to airport transfers.

We’ve also opened a brand-new office at Haltwhistle Train Station, right on Platform Two, with direct access via the waiting room. This prime location has made it easier for customers to reach us, expanded our operating area, and helped reduce travel costs across a wider region. With demand on the rise, we’re now planning a second office in Hexham to serve our growing customer base even better.

Our corporate and school transport contracts have grown significantly, and we’re now working with more national tour operators than ever before – helping visitors explore Northumberland and the surrounding areas with comfort and ease.

Private Hire
All our drivers are registered with Northumberland County Council, fully DBS checked and have a full private and hackney hire licence.
With being a private hire company only, our cars will never be seen parked on a “taxi” rank governed by Northumberland County Council. All transfers must be pre-booked by phone call, text, private message via Facebook, Whats App, email or by using the enquiry form in the “Contact Us” section of our website.

Comfortable, high spec transport for four passengers, however, transport is available for eight passengers across two vehicles. If multiple cars are required a discount is applied.
All vehicles are equipped with card payment facilities, state of the art sat nav, air conditioning, first aid kit and fire safety equipment to ensure a safe, reliable and timely transfer. All drivers have worked in the industry for some time, experienced in all aspects of passenger transport and have lived and worked in the local area for most of their lives.
